Just bought the shox an...Interesting Phil - thanks. Just bought the shox and May 2013 and I think its great! I have a elbow bursa problem (like tennis elbow) so I thought I would upgrade to shox. Only used it on flat to chop - (waves next week)and yep - there is a vague damping feeling on flat water.
